In our fast-paced design studio, we recently had the exciting opportunity to work for Volkswagen on the development of a new car infotainment system, aimed specifically at a younger audience. Recognizing the unique preferences and expectations of individuals in their 20s to 40s, we embarked on a design journey that emphasized user experience, intuitive functionality, and aesthetic appeal. This project exemplifies our commitment to innovative design and our ability to create products that resonate with contemporary audiences.
Designing for cars
Our design process began with extensive market research and user interviews to understand the target demographic’s needs and desires. We identified key features such as seamless smartphone integration, voice-activated controls, and customizable user interfaces as essential components. By incorporating these elements, we aimed to create a system that not only met but exceeded the expectations of a tech-savvy, dynamic user base. The result of our collaboration is an infotainment system that stands out with its vibrant color palette and sleek design, reflecting the youthful energy of its intended users.
